While the most sustainable case scenario would be to not wear a watch, we aim to be the best possible alternative to that, and even beyond. Our products are rather small, and therefore do not contain a lot of plastic. In fact, the most ‘plastic-heavy’ combination of a watch contains only a quarter of the amount of plastic by weight compared to our packaging. While plastic compensation is not the perfect solution, we believe it’s the best solution while we are working on finding alternatives for our current plastic usage.

Why Plastic Positive?

Through our partnership with CleanHub, we aim to calculate the offset of our plastic use for every watch sold (including the packaging) and plastic offset for all full time employees, equivalent to the world average of 7 kg per person/month. 

This way our total offset as an organization will be calculated on an ongoing quarterly basis, and it is our goal to integrate the live count directly on our website, where customers will be able to follow the progress and be assured in the transparency of the process. 



Empowering Strategy

Green Worms Waste Management runs door-to-door collection services to intercept plastic waste before it can enter the environment. The collection efforts are performed by women self-help groups across various municipalities in Kerala, India and create critical employment opportunities in the community.

In industries like ours, it is often a challenge to find environmentally friendly alternatives to plastic packaging. Our packaging is made of recycled paper and plastic bottles, and is designed to use as little material as possible. We have an ambition of transitioning our packaging to be as sustainable as possible. Within 2021, our goal for our packaging is to be 100% recycled, 100% recyclable and 100% plastic free.
